I’ve always felt that Mew is the ultimate “endgame” for a Pokémon collector. Because it’s a Mythical Pokémon, the TCG has always treated it with a certain level of gatekeeping: whether it was a Japanese-exclusive promo back in the 2000s or a notoriously difficult pull in a modern “Palden Fates” or “151” set. There’s a specific kind of prestige that comes with having a top-tier Mew in your binder; it just signals that you’ve done the work (and likely spent the money) to hunt down something rare.
Whether it’s that celestial blue “Bubble Mew” everyone is obsessed with right now or the vintage holo that still feels like a secret, these cards occupy a different price bracket than almost anything else in the hobby.
I’ve put together a gallery of the 10 most expensive raw Mew cards currently topping the charts. If you’re a fellow Mew hunter, here is a look at the “heavy hitters” that are setting the pace for our collections in 2026.
